This API retrieves detailed Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) information from Form 26AS for a specific ITR (Income Tax Return) ID. Form 26AS is an annual tax statement that contains information about tax deducted at source from your income by various entities. This endpoint provides comprehensive details about all TDS transactions, including deductor information, transaction dates, amounts, and tax details for a specific assessment year.

Technical Implementation

Authentication

All API requests require authentication using a JWT Bearer token. Authentication follows these steps:

Obtain API Credentials: Register with Surepass to receive your API key.

Generate JWT Token: Use your API key to generate a JWT token.

Include in Requests: Add the token to the Authorization header as Bearer TOKEN.

TDS Data Object Structure
